Atlantic City's Revel resort and casino is clearly more than just another concert stop for Beyonce. It's the first time she'll be performing since the birth of her daughter, Blue Ivy , in January, and the $2 billion resort is pulling out all the stops to promote her three dates at the casino's largest theater, which coincide with Revel's official grand opening this weekend.
In a new video plugging the casino and the shows, Beyonce says that she's "a little nervous" about returning to the stage.
"It's a little strange, but it's important that you don't lose yourself and you still have your own passions," she tells the camera. "And I'm back to work, I'm back to business."
There's some footage of a casual, mostly make-up free Beyonce planning the shows with her producers and staff, warming up vocally ("You know I haven't sang in a year"), reviewing concert footage, and overseeing video segments and choreography. (Sadly, no shots of Blue Ivy. That would have probably cost Revel another few million.) She's been reportedly staying at the resort for the last week in preparation for the concerts.
The concerts, in the resort's 5,500-seat Ovation Hall, are sold out, and the 1,200 rooms and suites -- some of which go for upwards of $1,000 a night -- are booked.
