Aamir Khan's Satyamev Jayate to return with a new season


After receiving appalling responses for his small screen venture, news wires are abuzz that Aamir Khan's television show ‘Satyamev Jayate’ is going to be back with an all new season. According to media reports, the Bollywood star has indicated that a second season to his popular show is on charts in the near future.
While speaking on a renowned radio channel, Aamir Khan said that once he finishes his pending film projects, he will gauge the situation and plan a probable second season of Satyamev Jayate.

Reportedly, calling it a ‘dream’ response to his show, Aamir Khan has indicated that he and his team will re-look at their work once the first season wraps up and then decide on initiating a second season.

Moreover, the super-star has also pointed out that it is very important for him and his team to research and report the impact of the show across the country to actually draw an effectual rating for the show. He further pointed out the team will be able to initiate plans for a second season only post September.

According to media reports, it took Khan and his team two years of strenuous research work to list the major issues affecting masses across the country.

The first season, which comprises of 13-episodes, started with an engaging episodic theme of female foeticide. The issue was well-received and the show touted to have been able to add value to TV content. Satyamev Jayate touched a chord with audiences instantly as it went ahead and dealt with issues like domestic violence, dowry issue, misconduct amongst medical practitioners and child sexual abuse.
