To make a difference, the change has to happen within first

Aamir Khan said that while we all wish to fight various social ills and desire for a better society, it can only succeed if each and everyone brings about a change within first. Like all new ventures, Aamir too was concerned about the way the show would pan out, but fired with passion and the want to make a difference to the society, he went ahead and the impact is for all to see! In reference to the issue of the girl child, Aamir narrated a recent incident, at a wedding he attended recently a guest blessed the bride to give birth to a boy at which point the other members present stated that a girl child is equally welcome and such gender bias should not exist. Change in any society is a gradual process and one needs to believe in the cause, without which the desirable change cannot be brought about.
