Thai Government Officials Give Lady Gaga A Little Monstering Over Show Culture chiefs furious over use of country's flag

Lady Gaga has been no stranger to controversial disputes with government officials, having been banned from Indonesia and creating fury in South Korea and The Phillipines, now Thai ministers have hit out at the 'Born This Way' singer for 'disrespecting' their country when she played a sold out concert in May.

A member of the Thai Culture Ministry, speaking anonymously as she was not authorised to speak to the media, told Reuters that GagaThe Culture Ministry said Gaga's use of their country's flag flag, tied to the back of a motorcycle while she was dressed in a provocative outfit, was "inappropriate" and disrespectful to its people.

Gaga had already infuriated officials after Tweeting that she would buy a fake Rolex in the country as the government is desperate to stamp out privacy.

The Thai Culture Ministry has a history of tyring to censor Western culture, due to the clash between the country's traditional conservatism and a night-life that has become notorious across the world. While its strip clubs, prostitution and party reputation attract tourists out to experience the darker side of life, many are unhappy with what they see as decadent Western behaviour.
